Welcome to my stop on the Beyond the Rising Tide
hosted by YA Bound Book Tours!
Kai met Avery only once–in the moment he died saving her life. Now when he’s not using his new healing powers to help people, he watches helplessly as Avery’s life is unraveled by his death. To help her, he risks everything by breaking the rules, dangerously blurring the barriers between life and death.
Beyond the Rising Tide was amazing. It perfectly captured more emotions than I knew existed, and made me feel every single one of them. It’s the kind of book that I want to pick up and read again because I’m not ready for it to be over.
I love how honest the book is. I love how it captures the feeling of being hurt, guilty, vulnerable, lost, and scared without being melodramatic. I love how real everything feels, like it all actually happened and this is a true story.
Beyond the Rising Tide is beautiful and heartbreaking and heart mending and everything in between. It is everything a YA book should be and wants to be. I definitely recommend this book to everyone looking for a read that leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
I am going to give Beyond the Rising Tide five out of five hearts!
