I’ve done it! I have made my first original book tag!
The theme of this tag is Summer Vacation because (duh) its summer. I tried to make the categories as summer themed as possible, and I hope you like them as much as I do!
A New Book You Have Been Waiting To Read
Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett
This book, guys. This book is SO GOOD! I luckily didn’t have to wait as long as some people to read this (because I received an ARC), but even waiting for the ARC to come in the mail felt too long! This book, which takes place in the summer, is so cute and romantic, and a summer read that you definitely do NOT want to miss!
And, guys, it’s out now. So what are you waiting for?

A Book That Leaves You Wanting More
Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer
I did not want this book to end. It was beautiful and heartbreaking, and as soon as it was over I just wanted to go back and read it over. Honestly everything about this book was so perfect. The only thing I would change about this book would be to add some kind of epilogue to find out what happened next. This is another summer-must-read!

A Book Where The Romance Is *On Point*
Beyond the Rising Tide by Sarah Beard
Man oh man. This book was so adorable. This is yet another summer must-read that absolutely swept me off my feet. It was so romantic that it almost killed me. ALL THE FEELS WHERE THERE. ALL OF THEM. And seriously guys if you are looking for an amazing summer romance that supernatural elements, look no further. This is the best one. The end.

A Book You Were Excited For But Didn’t Live Up To Your Expectations
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
I had SUCH HIGH HOPES for this book. Its synopsis is amazing. The movie trailer was beautiful (and Nick Robinson *sigh*). Everything was lining up to make this story perfect.
And then FLOP. I was SO SAD. I wanted this book to be amazing. It had all the promises to live up to my expectations. AND THEN IT DIDN’T. *sobs*

A Fantastical Book That Transported You To Another World
The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury
THIS BOOK.
I was no longer in my living room. The end.
Seriously, this is one of the most beautiful and magical books out there. I was transported to a fantastical world complete with jinn and some super adorableness and lots of trouble. If you are looking for a vacation but don’t know where to go: GO TO THIS BOOK!!!

A Dark Book That Was Light Up With Streaks Of Beauty
Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
This book is just the perfect mix of darkness and beauty. The book, of course, has a very dark theme, and is riddled with graphic murders and a race to find the crazed killer. But the writing and characters and adorable flirtations just filled this book with streaks of beauty that were just too perfect.

A Book Or Series That You Can’t Get Enough Of
Ruby Red Trilogy by Kerstin Gier
I have read this series time and time again, and whenever I am in a book slump, this is the series I read to get out of it!
These books are so heart pounding and exciting and swoon worthy and adorable. I love the characters so much, and every time I reread this series I fall in love with them all over again!
